stakeholders can be defined as the people who interested in a firm's actions and contributed something to the firm operations directly or indirectly. These people are the wellwishers to the firm, interested in the activities of the firm, support with their actions to the firm. The major stakeholders to any firm, including Dicks are:

  • shareholders/owners: are the people who contributed capital to the firm and establish business with their interest and talent.
  • employees: contributes their services towards the firm and works for it over a period of time
  • customers: these people buy the products of Ducks again and again and encourage the firm to produce more and more products
  • creditors: who lend funds to the firm to meet its financial obligations in short term and medium term, includes bankers, financial institutions etc
  • media: who create an image in the minds of customers by its activities, which is more important to any firm to survive in the market
  • society as whole: the people who accepted the production process of Ducks and support the firm in various directions
  • suppliers: who provide inputs like material, machine etc to the firm
  • competitors: who support the firm directly or indirectly to focus on its quality activities.

these are the stakeholders of Dicks, who contribute something and helps the firm to stand in the market and survive.
