Expectations play an important role in macroeconomic analysis. Consumer and business confidence are major drivers of the economy in the short run.
Describe how your expectations about the future of the economy
have changed as a result of Covid-19. How are you changing your
spending patterns during this
crisis? How has the Coronavirus pandemic affected your plans for
the future? Have you reevaluated your educational and/or transfer
plans? Your career choices? Investment strategies? Are you
concerned by the large deficits that are being run to counter the
Covid-19 pandemic?
Expectations do play an important role in macroeconomic analysis. Planning for our future is the most important part of our daily lives.
Due to Covid-19, my expectations are drastically affected, I planned to move abroad but now everything seems unstable due to this pandemic. No place seems safer, that is why for me as of now, staying at home seems the safest option in the coming future.
My spending patterns are now very conservative, as I have altogether stopped going out to spend on shopping and on any leisure activities. My current spendings are focussed on buying necessities goods which are important for survival. Like groceries, paying bills etc.
My plans for the future are delayed, I am planning to start some productive website online. Probably i will be doing my further studies online only. I am considering all the feasible options available to puruse my further studies.
I am more focussed on contact less education or job options. It includes working online from the comfort of home.
I am inclined towards investing in food chain delivery outlets because their demand will never fall, people consumption can never be zero even if their income falls to zero.
Yes, I am concerned about the large deficits and loses caused due to the Covid-19 pandemic, now economy will need more time and new innovative ideas to regain its position.
