Answer-1) The institution which I have selected is Scottish Church College. The market environment consists of two elements Internal market environment and external market environment. Let us first know what comes under internal market environment. Internal market environment refers to the institution's factor and forces that help it build good relationship with the students and their parents. In this college, the market environment is very friendly where their is a large campus with great infrastructure facilities that help students to learn and explore new ideas. The faculty members also supports the students in every aspect and help them become industry ready. In this college, sport and entertainment activities are also given importance because the college believes that learning is not occupied till classrooms.
Lets see the external marketing environment. It means the forces beyong college premises that affect the environment of the college. Economic factors such as deflation or recession where parents are not able to pay fees of their students. Political factors where minor religions want a reserve for their community. Social factors where the unions and community keeps a strict eye on the Operations of college and shall revolt if anything goes wrong.
Answer-2) Human Resource Function- Human resource department has the duty to take care of all the teachers, administrative staff, sweeping staff, etc. They basically are for the people and works to maintain healthy cooperation between all the subordinates and top management. They also look after other things like salary structure, attendance etc.
The Marketing Function- the marketing function is responsible for promotion activities. They market the school at many events and advertise the school at different platforms to get as Many admission as follows.
The purchasing function - This department controls all the items which are bought for college purposes like Benches, tables , food for canteen , etc.
Operation function- it is responsible for organising all the program from interviewing a candidate to its final admission. Selection of students, conducting interviews are all done by them
Answer-3) Five management challenge faced by the institue are
1-) Keeping accounts of so many students and all the staff.
2-) Tackling any type of negative publicity.
3-) Funding from trustees.
4-) Deciding the fees structure.
5-) Expansion of the college into a bigger campus
