What are your thoughts on what actions you might take as a large corporation to make a positive social impact in the greater Milwaukee area.

If I were having a large corporation in Milwaukee area which can lead a positive impact on the society, I would like to develop as efficient strategic plan as the initial stage in this regard followed by the creation of ideas about what are the various things which could be given back to the society.

Doing this would be by asking a series of questions like: Is a successful program addressing a particular cause viable financially? Will we have enough of an impact to justify the effort and investment?The best way to ensure the entire process is being handled as efficiently as possible is to work with a trusted partner organization that can professionally manage most of the administrative aspects of your CSR program.

In this regard, I would first of all like to develop a strategic Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program. This can be done by ensuring that there is a proper sync between the organizational culture and how to contribute towards the sustainable development of the society. In order to execute this stage, a number of questions have to be answered which are ass below:-

Is it financially viable to have a successful program related to a certain cause?

Will the nature and extent of the impact on the society enough to justify the investment?

By working with a trusted partner organization can be seen as the best methods of ensuring the complete process is being managed efficiently. This partner organization should be able to manage most of the administrative functions efficiently with regard to CSR program.

My other step in having a positive social impact can be to give back to the society in such a manner that these activities are in completely complementary to the CSR program. Returning something meaningful to the society of quite significant as it will indicate integrity and the corporation will not be seen as an only profit churning organization, in fact, it will lead a positive image of the company in the community. In fact, my organization will fund many charitable programs designed for the patient with AIDS, HIV, Cancer and many life-threatening diseases so that it can help the society to help its members. Apart from this, I can also plan to donate the computers and other teaching aids to the public schools or to those NGOs which are involved in the education sector.

As the last step to help the community, I can ask my manpower to devote some hours to social service and thus it will be the best step as it will create a positive relationship between the organization and the society.
