Solutions

Expert Solution

Subculture:When a category or crew of  members who have similar tastes, preferences and try to protect and fight for their rights then it is considered as subculture. There are many crews and categories in society who support their respective traditions and customs.Example of subculture is a gender equality crew, who prefer bringing equality among different genders and they try to abolish command of one gender over other.Their main aim is to practice the culture of treating all the genders in the same manner by protecting and serving necessary rights to all the people. This is an example of subculture.

Counterculture:Counterculture is a crew of members who ahve unique thought process and  are against the commanding society. They mainly form categories so that they can prevent the superiorty or ruling of commanding societies over the inferior ones.Example of counterculture is an anti nepotism crew, where a category of members are against the practice of passing the power of ruling tor dear ones who aren't deserving to attain the power. The thought process and thinking of this crew is different from major part of the society. They completely fight for their rights and try to bring awareness among people about the discrimination and  wrong things happening in the society so that justice will be served and there will be an end to such wrong things. Therefore this an example for counterculture.

Yes,it is better to marry someone of the same cultural background.I agree with this, since marrying a person with same cultural background lessens risk of divorce. If two people of similar cultural background marry eachother, then there will be minimum conflicts in their relationship as their mindset and perspectives match with eachother. If their thoughts match, there will be better understanding between them and best bond might survive for long time.If people of different cultural backgrounds marry then there might be more issues and misunderstandngs which might end the relationship at earlier stage itself.Such marriages survive only when people have balanced thoughts, understanding and adjusting mindset. So,it is better to marry someone who belong to same cultural background.
