Telecommuting is a concept that refers to the work from home or from remote locations, adding flexibility at work. It has different advantages to the organization as well as to the employees.

A

The first advantage is the increased level of flexibilities for employees, because as a part of telecommuting, employees can work from home and by doing this, the can save time, increase their productivity and reduce the stress level. Besides, it helps employees to be flexible in organizing their work in term of time schedule of work.

It is the advantage of attracting top talents that goes to the employers. It always happens that most suitable candidates stay in another city or location and from there, they cannot come and join the organization for making physical presence on daily basis. But, using telecommuting, these individuals can work from home and give the same output what they could give while being in office. So, noe organization can hire these people what could not be done in the past.

It is the advantage that working parents can work from home, while looking after their kids and young children. So, telecommuting helps these people to mange both the responsibilities effectively. For example, single mothers find it very suitable as they are the only one at home to look after the kids. So, stress level decreases using telecommuting.

Telecommuting gives another advantage that is saving time and money that could take place on physical commuting. It is the telecommuting that only needs internet and computer with necessary applications to build connectively to the office. It does not require spending money on movement. so, saving of time and money takes place.

Hence, it already reduces lot of absenteeism as the major reason of absenteeism is eliminated. It helps organization develop a plan that adds consistency at work and delivering targets on time. So, it is also a benefit of telecommuting.
