The work sampling is a process in which the organization examines the working of employees that how they are working, what techniques they are using and how much time they are taking to complete the task.

The advantages of work sampling are-

1. Work sampling process is cheaper and less costly than time sampling process.

2. Work sampling improves the productivity of the organization as they analyse the working procedure which is used by the employees and give them a better and efficient idea to achieve the task.

3. This process does not require a specific kind of training or knowledge, it can be done by any person.

4. No device is required to do work sampling, many employees and machines can be examined by a single observer.

5. The employees can get better workplace as the examiner will be determining the lacking of the workplace and will be coming up with the plans which will improve the working environment.

6. This process gives proper and accurate results as the worker are not aware of the examining happening so the observer is able to examine properly and can give accurate results.
