Answer: In my observation of the work teams and groups at the university I found that they are very effective in dealing with the complex problems. .The work teams and groups are very effective in dealing with the complex tasks. These complex tasks are those which require multiple skills and require that a problem is approached from different angles. The work teams and groups are effective in dealing with such situations because they are comprised of a number of people who have different skill sets and perspective. They have different experience and knowledge and when all these things come together they help in better solving to the problems in hand. In the work teams and groups at the university I found that the group tasks which were complex were achieved by us only because we approached them from various perspectives. If we had to solve these situations individually we could not have been able to find solutions because of the limited knowledge and skills we had.

To make teams more effective at the university level I think that that the university should also provide coaching about the team work. The university should also promote the group level tasks so that the students get involved in team work. This will help in providing both theoretical and practical experience to the students in team work. The team work is important for the students in their future careers as they are required to work as a team. Hence the university needs to create a focus on providing learning about the team work to the students.
