Rural and urban areas complement each other and both are getting benifitted from each other in following ways:

  • Urban areas depends on rural area for their demands of daily needs like food, water, grains, raw materials etc. which are basically being produced by rural ecosystem.
  • The benifits rural area gets from urban areas are employment opportunities,market to sell their product, farm input etc.
  • Many of the input of urban factories are also getting met by rural outputs like sugercane for getting sugar or potato to make chips.
  • Rural areas borrow new technology and innovations done in urban labs for increasing their productivity and outputs.
  • Rural areas also use informations like weither informations and other climate broadcasts based on which they prepare themselves what kind of crops will give better result in a particular season be it monsoon, or the quality of rain in a particular rainy season.
