Expert Solution

Explanation:

Manager would like to avoid the espoused reality that will prevailing in his department in the first place. Workplace cannot have the espoused reality as people will behave on their own if they have espoused reality, normally people would follow their own values and belief in their life but when it comes to workplace values this cannot be allowed by manager since manager have to achieve and fulfill the objectives and goals of company, and if employees are allowed to follow their own belief and valued this could not be possible at any cost. Manager must set departmental values that every employee have to follow since they are working at organization and organization does not allow to have them their own values to follow at workplace. This behavior is not tolerable for managers as this could harm actual goals of company.

  • Manager can use broad spectrum approach to teach employees of company to adapt to organizational values. Manager should have to write down that and publish those values in organization.
  • Manager must involve every department supervisor and head to instill value of organization by following it through them so that employees can know that way also.
  • When there is entry of new employees in organization manager introduce those values to them through socialization with existing employees, new employees need to aware values of organization.
