No one becomes poor by choice. Being poor is by fate. Poor people have to face a lot of problems in their life. People cannot afford food for themselves and their families. They are not able to provide education to their children. Working poor are those people who have some work but they do not earn much. They have low income which is not much as they can take care of the family. The working people are also part of society. They help in various activities which take place in society. Without them, some of the work is not possible like construction, etc. where the laborers are required for working. So, they also have a responsibility towards society. as the other people have. The working poor also contribute to the economy as they are not unemployed. They earn money and they spend it for fulfilling their basic needs. They earn less but they spend it and hence they also take an active part in the development of the economy. The working people are aided by various plans laid down by the government. They are also helped by various NGOs who work for their upliftment. The government also aids in providing free education to their children. In this way the working poor survive.
