Where do you see effective leadership today when it comes to matters of race in society? What makes that leadership effective?
I personally feel that some of the Indian social workers, authors, journalists are playing the significant and crucial role in the context of the issues allied with race in the society today.
Dr. Prakash Amte, a Magassessey Award Winner Indian social worker who is the son of Magassessey Award Winner social worker Baba Amte is contributing deeply to this issue of Racism and the related racial problems.
His leadership is effective because he is dealing with it in an entirely holistic manner. Talking with common people, meeting media people, taking press conferences, making efforts through his non profit organisation, collaborating with the Government and giving a touch of cultivation of opportunities for the bread and butter, better life to the downtrodden, negelcted and discriminated- all the different ways to eradicate the "Race" issue are being experimented and endeavoured by Dr. Prakash Amte.
Further, a touch of Ancient Indian Philosophy and a participative method of functioning beautify his leadership and he is emerging as one of the most constructive leaders of the contemporary times.
