The concept of teaching is a continuous process so that a teacher must connect previous knowledge with new knowledge. The bridging the increase the interests and help student to understand the concepts easily.

For example- a teacher wants to teach about history, he needs to connect previous knowledge to new so that students will learn easily.

The links between past learning and new learning follow the maxims of teaching. Past knowledge creates attention towards new knowledge so that the student find themselves aware of the knowledge.

Example- To provide the knowledge about sentence structure, the teacher needs to link with the parts of speech and word structure and concepts so that student shall learn easily.

The vocabulary is a key factor in learning, students need to learn and understand vocabulary to understand the chapter and create concepts regarding lesson.

Example- if students want to learn about memory, they need to understand some terms and concepts like perception, learning, coding, retrieval, identification etc.
