• salient features of chapter two-

1. in this chapter we discuss about the general requirements of firefighting and warning systems.
2. in this we further discuss about Goal, Application areas, Designing requirements, Permit requirements, Maintenance requirements, Training requirements,Firefighting systems and equipment classification etc.
3. i.e in this chapter we learn about the thing that used for fire fighting such as fire extinguisher, fire hydrant, material i.e used in the fire extinguisher. machine that gives warning before fire i.e. fire warning system.
4. we also learn about typeof extinguisher, type of warning system (manual or automatic).
5. we also learn about which type of extinguisher is suitable for which type of fire for e.g. water is suitable for fire type A.

• salient features of chapter three-

1. ​​​​​​​in this chapter we study about general requirements for escape means (emergency exits) i.e. in case of fire in a building what are the ways should be provided for emergency exit.
2. It should be a fast means of way to come out from a building fire. The way should be designed in such a manner that fire will reach in this way at last and also should be the shortest path to come out of the building.
3. in this chapter we learn about the various component of escape means, escape means requirements, designing principles of escape means, estimation of the building occupant's number, protection from falling during the use of escape means etc.
4. in simple terms we say that providing safety from fire by the use of escape means with safety measures.

1. ​​​​​​​in this chapter we study about prevention and protection requirements from fire in residential buildings i.e. how to prevent the occourence of fire activity in building and if it happen then how to mittigate it.
2. In this chapter we deal with the preventive measure and mittigation approaches of fire in a building.
3. for preventive measure we deal with the material used in construction, validity of buildings from construction point of view for use as residential buildings, ggap provided between one building to other etc.
4. protection requirements includes Fire spread control, Escape means, Fire fighting and warning equipment and it's application. General requirements of exits should be provided as indicated in escape means chapter.
