Answer: Note: I'm here taking example of India.
Poverty is not mere absence of money rather it is comprised of inadequate standards of living which in itself contained many aspects of life apart from bread, clothes and home.
UNDP's Human development Index and Multidimensional Poverty Index, Oxfam's data on rising inequalities where mere 1% of richest population has been 56% of wealth. All these indicates that tue very popular idea of Economic growth which is largely based on the GDP calculation method, does not predict the true picture of country's population status or in this case level of poverty.
Let us take the example of : Fastest growing economy in the world currently like India, before Covid crisis it is growing approximately 6-7% of GDP annually, Where as while on seeing the data of above mentioned reports it is been said that in the country inequality is further rising, standard of living is not impeoving with the same pace etc.
One aspect of Poverty in this case can be taken of Low level of literacy in the country.Though after independence country has shown tremendous improvement in its literacy level from few percents to 74% percent today yet there is large gaps with respect to gender parity (though from recent years girls are also improving ) yet percentage of girls students in government schools is more than boys school where as in private schools boys are greater in percentage.
So as said by Nelson Mandela "Education is that powerful weapon which you can use to change the world" yet low level of literacy is still a reality apart from gender level disparities there also exist communities level mismatch w.r.t. level of literacy.
Education is basich tool if you are educating a women then you are educating the whole family as she is the 1st teacher of child etc.
With rising education come more understanding of population control, nutritional eductaion, more awareness about skilling that this all lead to elimination of Poverty otherwise absence of it starts a vicious cycle.
PROPER RESPONSE to overcome this aspect of poverty:
Educate, Empower and Employ (3Es) this is the sole solution.Government has started many steps like Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan(Universal Education) for 6-14 years chlidren whta it needs is its proper implementation at the ground level, improving quality of education in government schools as par with private schools, more investment in vocational eduction and skilling.
What more needed is Awareness, Apathy, Advancement at individual level.
Hope it helps.
