Following are the techniques of grounded theory:

(1)Concurrent data collection and analysis: This theory focuses on collection and analysis of data at the same time from different sources.

(2)Coding of data into concepts and categories: The so obtained data is then coded according to concepts and categories of the grounded theory.

(3)Use of interpretative frameworks: It involves detailed understanding of a particular data and its aspects through observation, not through hypothesis testing.

(4)Theoretical sampling: This process involves data collection for generating theory whereby the analyst jointly collects codes and analyses data and decides what data to collect next and where to find them, in order to develop a theory or strategy as it emerges.

(5)Memoing: Memoing works as an accumulation of written ideas into a bank of ideas about concepts and how they relate to each other.

(6)Integration of categories: Theoretical coding integrates and synthesizes the categories derived from coding and analysis to now create a theory.
