Ans:- Health and safety at workplace is one of the basic elements which needs to be maintained at workplace. There are various aspects of health and safety at workplace:-

a). Employers are legally bound to provide safe working condition for employees as well as customers, vendors etc.

b). In manufacturing industries hazarous signboard should be dispayed. The employees should use proper safety measures like helmet, gumboots, gloves, mask etc.

c). Fire and safety check should be done on periodic basis. Mock drills should be organised and employees should participate in it.

d). Employer should also ensure the culture inside the organisation. No one should bully other employees. Everyone should get equal opportunity of growth.

e). Lighting, escalators, stairs curve, slippery floor etc should be properly managed to avoid any mishappening.

f). Accident, injuries, near miss occurance should be reported and it's reason should be analysed to avoid it in future.

g). Employees should also participate in health and safety training, be responsible to maintain good working condition and encourge the colleagues to do the same.

h). Manual handling of hazardous activities should be strictly prohibited and it should be only dealt be professionals with proper care.
