Assume that you are a team leader, and your team is under a deadline to get a lot done. You have noticed that some of your team members tend to get overwhelmed and make emotional decisions. Other team members seem to thrive in those situations and are motivated by the deadline.
Based on this article, make a list of things you can do as a manager to help your team to understand and manage their emotions so they all can be productive. In this condition we have To takel things with emotional intelligence and emotional quatint which is more important than IQ. EI is the ability to understand and manage your own emotions, and those of the people around you. People with a high degree of emotional intelligence know what they're feeling, what their emotions mean, and how these emotions can affect other people.Emotional quotient or EQ is the ability to understand, use, and manage your own emotionsas well to help out in positive ways to relieve stress, communicate effectively, empathize with others, overcome challenges and defuse conflict.
As a manager i use both Emotional intelligence and emotional quatient to understand the persons problem and than how i can turn them in to progress of the company or the person in a positive manner.
A positive person can work with a negative person,but some times it can't work negativity can be havier on the positives also so first i select the person who can motivate the team as well himself. and than i can add some group activities for fun and for improvement of work as well.
we can arrange some sessions on work management, stress management, and how to deal with your emotions.are some good options to provide them power to how delevr their emotions into positive way.
Its depand on person to person so we can arrange some councelling sessions as well. As a manager i do participate with them and motivate them.
