Do you think that race relations in America have improved since Dr. King gave his speech in 1963? Support your answer.
Martin Luther King Jr, gave his famous speech " I have a dream " on August 28, 1963. In his speech they raised there voice in achieving social justice like end of discrimination on the basis of caste, sex , religion, race, etc , women empowerment, personal liberty and so on. They wanted to ends these evils from the society but there dream must not fulfilled of its iull extent. Today society in general accepting the people from differing background, belief, religion, caste ,race . Many black people like Oprah Winfrey, Barack Obama and many other reached on influential position. King's dreams of justice for all regardless of race, caste, religion, ethnicity, gender or sexual preference are on positive direction, women participation in labour market increases , black people get job and work place discrimination decreases but we still have a long way to go
Recent custodial killing of George Floyd does not only damaged the King's dream but increases social imbalance, on the other hand the public reaction on Floyd death also lighten the King's dreams.
