  • perform your job with perfection.
  • to have affection for those who work with and for you
  • have ethical values
  • deliver on your promise

The three components of credibility:

Competence: It refers to knowledge and skills need to understand business tasks, approach business problem and get the get done efficiently. People always judge your competence based on your track record of achievement and success. Competence can be developed through observation, study, practice and real world business experience.

Caring: It implies understanding the interests of others. It also implies cultivating a sense of community. It refers to demonstrating accountability - obligations and enlarged visons to the stakeholders

Character: It is the reputation for staying true to commitments made to stakeholders and compling to high moral and ethical values. It is a very important factor for long term collaborative and long term relationship. It can be considered as the most important component for creating trust.
