APA RATED STRUD 1 FLOOR:
DESCRIPTION :
APA Rated Sturd-I-Floor is primarily intended for
combination subfloor-underlayment (single-floor)
applications; however, it is also suitable for use as
subfloor,
roof and diaphragm sheathing. APA Rated Sturd-I-Floor
provides smooth surface for application of carpet and pad.
MATERIALS :
APA Rated Sturd-I-Floor panels are produced as plywood
or oriented strand board (OSB). Typical size is 4 ft x 8 ft,
but other sizes may also be produced. Commonly tongue
and groove edges, but may be produced with square edge.
Although uncommon, APA Rated Sturd-I-Floor may be
produced as Structural I, which provides enhanced racking
and cross-panel strength properties for certain demanding
applications such as designed diaphragms, and panelized
roofs. May not be locally available.
