Group dynamics is a process by which humans interact to form a group and the relatioship between the group and the individual. every group undergoes 4 stages to be formed. they are-

1. Forming- this stage involves people coming together and familiarising themselves.
2. Storming- when the group has differences between them this stage strengthens them by discussing and interacting.
3. Norming- The group starts forming norms for itself and the group members decide on them mutually and stick to them.
4. Performing- after all the other stages this stage occurs whereby they start working together.

there are many psychosocial factors that affect the group dynamics.

1. Team Cohesion- it is a major factor which is basically psychological as it depends on the mentality of a person. A good team has high cohesion and and this is a factor which enables them to work appropriately and perform the duties in the group.
2. Social Loafing- it is basically a social factor. it refers to the fact that people put in less efforts in the group if they see others putting in efforts which effects them in a negative manner. this can also effect the other peoples performance if they observe what they are doing. hence effecting the team performance.
3. Leadership- it is a major aspect in group dynamics. A good leader will make the group stronger and more bonded and will make them move for the grouo and towards the group goal. It effects the group performance.
4. Groupthink- it is basically a psychological factor whereby theperson thinks they belong to a group and are attached to it with a great bond. they consider their group as I and the other group as They. also it effects the togetherness and belief of a person in the group and hance effects the performance.
