Expert Solution

Yes. Disaster recovery planning is just as important for a small business as a large business because without a good plan in place, when disaster strikes that affects the central computer system, a small business could be completely destroyed if it didn’t have a current offsite backup.

If the emergency is a fire, all employees need to know where to gather, and emergency phone numbers need to be available to make sure all employees are secure and safe.

If the emergency is of a personal medical nature, all employees need to know where life-saving equipment and first aid materials are readily available.
