As you know, after the killing of George Floyd by the MPLS police, there were protests throughout the country. A consistent thread is that Black Lives Matters. People have responded in various ways to the BLM. Can you see ways in which concepts in intersectionality, or the term intersectionality overall, would help in analyzing these protests, the actions of police, etc.?

Intersectionality can be used for analysing and explaining the behaviour of protestors and the police in the social agenda of Black Lives Matter. Intersectionality is the nature of social categorisation of discriminant behaviours such as racism and sexism. Protesters can be observed uniting over this topic not only in the nation but from around the globe because they are able to relate themselves with the discrimination that they are facing from a long period of time in their particular and respective lives. this discrimination can be of different types and can be imposed upon an individual by the community or an individual or a group of people who live beside them. The police can be observed taking a back stand in this scenario because it has been accused of being the community which discriminates on the basis of race specially. It can be observed that many females have also taken the streets and they want to get the message across that no kind of discrimination is tolerable by the society.
