Studies show that despite the stereotypes, on average, elderly people say they are more satisfied with their lives and less lonely than people in their 20's. Based on emotional and social development in late adultood,how would you explain this?

Older people have lowest level of anxiety , depression, and more happiness than people their 20's.in 20's , people, consistently feels peer pressure , competition to make bright carrier somhow they are not able to properly developed mental health but in old age, they are progressively improve their mental health. they became more experienced and matured about the life while young people are so desperate and they are not easily acept failure .even suicide rate are very high in this age group due to excessive mental illness as compared old age.in terms of emotional develoment elder people are more emotionaly stable, they are not intellectually and physically so sharp but in psychological well being ,they are more developed .they feel more satisfaction and happiness as compare young people.they are not only become wisedom with experience of life but also ressilence and regulate well in emotion.in social develoment , elder people are more coherent, develoment good social network and bonding .They are developed social identity .for example, he may be civil officer, or any proffesor which helps to conncet people influencively and become more socilized.but young people still are abstain themselves from social group and mostly likely spent time in isolation .social develoment means inculcate social skill.young people are wants independent from family orientation and engaged intimate relationship and less developed social value.elder people are more empathetic and understand needs of others and having good social relationship than 20's people.so Genuinely elder people feel more Happy , satisfied with their life .
