Question 1. “Identify 2 aspects of this course that you feel are the most important for future students enrolling in this course to form a clear and informed understanding..? (include your reasoning for why you feel these 2 aspects are the most important)
Question 2 : “How would you define the purposes of this course, without using the words Project Management, PMBOK, or Engineering in your response?
Solution
Two aspects of this course that I believe every student who join this course in future should have are patience and ability to practice.
Patience is imortant because at first when you start learning the subject you will have to go through a lot of theoritical sessions with not much technical about it as it is with other subjects but this subject comes to you in bits. There will be lot of demonstrations, lectures on small topics which at times look of very less significance but together they are a powerful tool in life which you will understand when you become a professional.
As part of any subject it is a waste if you learn it and and never apply it. But the topics that you will learn here are easier to understand and write about in exams but the real difficulty is to apply them in your life. These things that are taught should become a part of you for your entire life and this is only possible if you practice them in your life so that these lessons reflect naturally on you.
The purpose of this course is to help your technical skills look more professional. At times we come across people who have sufficient knowledge or ideas but are not able to convey or present it to the world clearly or efficiently but this is what this entire course is about. This is the place where you learn such skills which makes you stand apart from people who are of same field and expertise as you. It improves your effectiveness in a wokplace and makes you more practical as well as rational in your approch.
