One of the most important factors about politicians in many countries is that it has become their full-time job and they would like to be in power for ever. This would mean that they would neither bring any fresh ideas nor allow the fresh minds to work on the contemporary society. Society should be able to choose senators and congressmen as per the requirement of their time and this would mean that they should be capable enough to solve the contemporary issues and accept the diversity that time brings. So, in my opinion, there should be term limits on the senators and congressmen in order to ensure that they do not use their power to build an empire around them or hold on to the positions thus preventing young minds from getting to power. I think they should be limited with two terms because this would allow them to complete the projects that they had initiated and prove their worth to people.
