Explain how you could incorporate parts of the framework for pathophysiology in patient charting
In patient charting we can incorporate parts of pathophysiology by identifying disease process as 4 aspects of disease processes are a) Cause/etiology, . In which can be explain in charting what can be the possible causes of disease condition .
b) Pathogenesis - framework for pathophysiology can be incorporated in patient charting by explaining -
Sequence of events in response of the cells or tissues to the etiologic agents. The events which occured in patient in response to cause or agent leading to this condition.
c) Incubation period, prodromal period, silent or latent period, exacerbation, remission, convalescense - framework for pathophysiology can be incorporated in patient charting as -
Stages & clinical course of disease
Explaining how condition has increased , decreased or sudden onset of changes can be seen in patient .
d) Laboratory test, Radiologic test- framework for pathophysiology which can be incorporated in patient charting as
2 methods of diagnosis as help in identifying the disease condition more accurately and diagnosing the patient
e) Complication - framework for pathophysiology can be incorporated in patient charting as
Onset of a second disease or disorder in an individual who is already affected with a disease. Which means what can be more possible effect and chances of other disease in this patient affected with this particular disease condition .
f) Prognosis - a framework for pathophysiology can be incorporated in patient charting as predicted or expected outcomes of disease and how it can vary in this stage of patient .
Thus framework of pathophysiology can be incorporated in patient charting with different manners.
