The trends related and their imanct on universities are as follows:

Three important trends related to ethics are strategic changes in corporate philanthropy, a new social contract between employers and employees, and the growth of global ethics. The new contract between the employers and employees will be that of teachers and the management. As the contract will be new there may be many trust issues and new faces coming in the depqrtment. Even though the term sustainability go on many decades and is used as as hoc basis and public perception about the international visibility of substantially enhanced with the publication of “Our Common Future”. The discussion in role of diversity strarted around the mid 19th century when the students were demanding for the scholarships. Administrators do need to keep in mind, however that there seems to be a stronger
connection to funding difficulties for some of the students.

Challenges present by these trends to a university

Sustainability in higher education needs at the same time to be perceived as work in progress. As far as the levels of implementation of sustainability in university systems are concerned, institutions of higher education may be found at roughly different stages of evolution. Despite the internationalism it is still difficult to be inclusive and multicultural enough to accommodate the growing numbers of international students. Given that international students have different cultural backgrounds, ethnicity, values, and languages, it could generate complex challenges in widening the multicultural landscape of higher education.

Initiatives that can be taken to established to meet these challenges

With the inevitability of a more diverse population and workforce, the institutions of higher education do not only have a responsibility, but must assume leadership position on this crucial issue of preparing citizens for the world they now face.

It is important in order to be able to support the professionals, to improve the quality of care, and to know in which way future ethics support services might be helpful. We must also consider students and ask their views on how to overcome the challenges caused by ethics to their university.

To over come the sustainability challenges a university must impove their infrastructure and transportation system so that the students do not face problems and they feel comfortable. Better of all would be that they will feel more safer if the quality of infrastructure, transport and teaching facilities are improved.
