Here's the context in which you should write your final exam. Bronner's Christmas store is one of the largest in America. Bronners currently has one store located in Frankenmuth, Michigan. Bronner's has decided to open up a second store in Heidelberg Germany. Reflecting on each chapter in our textbook, respond to each of the following questions as though you were hired to be a consultant to Bronner's.

 

5. Identify similarities and/or differences in Ethics and sustainability between the US and Germany.

Answer 1

Americans may see germans as too rigid and formal, while germans may regard american as loud, over familliar. Both the cultures might seem apart but they both value teamwork, openness, honesty, cooperation etc. Both encourage creativity and entrepreneurship, berlin and sillicon vally are the world leader in startup creation.

There are few points which can be discuss about

• Communication style germans are very direct communicators. Where as in america of we say directly and opennely we are considered rude.
• language germans generally adapt at languages, they may speak excellent and technical english where as americans may speak no german at all.
• Problem solving both have different approach towards problem solving. Germans assemble data and facts and work out solution before starting work where as americans are more likely to value speed and profit.
• Debt germany is still more of a cash society than america.
