When it comes to failure, I have a mixture of emotions. Usually depression is the first to rear its ugly head. After the initial reaction, I become angry at myself. I am my own worst critic. I often times allow things and thoughts to interfere with my focus. I find it hard to shut out these thoughts, however, I tend to dwell on the negative things. Upon my initial failure, I tend to blame the things I believe got in the way. One example of this can be my negative thoughts that I allow to take over my mind. Another such example is not managing my time effectively enough between being a mother and a student. Ultimately, I realize that my failure was only due to myself. I am ultimately the one who chooses to dwell on such thoughts. I am ultimately the one who decides after a long day of being a parent that I can take a break and blow off my assignments. The most difficult part of this I find is picking up the pieces after a failure. It can be tough reminding yourself that you’re not a failure at EVERYTHING just from one event or situation. give a peer response of 200 words.
When it comes to failures, it is important to realize that they are only stepping stones to the path of ultimate achievement of goals and desires. It can be hard sometimes to digest that we failed in something that we wanted to achieve with great fervour but at the same time, it is the same passion that drives you to get up once again and indulge in whatever is necessary in order to reach your goals.
As a mother it becomes essential to manage your time in a way that you are proud of in the end, irrespective of the results. It is a major task that you have to undertake on a daily basis. Yet it is something that is achievable with patience and practice. You need to try and eliminate all possible sources of distraction on a day and day basis and set realistic milestones. You can try and gauge where you stand by regularly achieving these milestones.
It is essential to realize that you need to give the best possible chance to yourself by absorbing and managing all the hurdles in the way. Even then if you fail in the first attempt, you need to carefully look at the results and try and analyse why it happened. Not every failure is the ultimate result. You have to learn from your failures and make sure that you do not make the same mistakes again. Failure is not being able to achieve the desired results but losing the will to stand up and try again.
It can be frustrating at times to not see yourself in the position that you hoped to see, but success takes time. It takes lesser time for some. It takes more time and hardwork for the others. Ultimately, it is for everyone to taste. It is not wrong to blame yourself in such times of crisis. It only shows how much you care. So rather than dwelling too much on negative thoughts, learn from your current mistakes and turn them into positives. All of this takes time and a considerable amount of conscious effort which eventually leads to a change in overall outlook and personality of the individual.
