Section1: Organization culture depicts the guidelines set for the employees to monitor their behavior in the organization. The guidelines are not any written ideas but they are some principles that the employees are expected to follow at the workplace. The organization culture has a great influence on the ways people behave, interact with others, or even dress within an organization. The organization where the unfortunate incident of the conflict took place has a very competitive culture. This organization mainly emphasize on the adoption of new innovative techniques of growth and encourage the employees to continuously try to innovate things. They are also provided incentives for finding some new ways of doing the work or cost-saving e.t.c. The employees are motivated and try hard to grab this opportunity to earn an extra incentive. All together the employees are dedicated, divided into teams to accomplish the goals and a competitive environment is prevailing in the organization.

Section2: The parties to the conflict are the employees of the organization and they are working for two different teams. Both the team's employees are sharp and intelligent who are trying to innovate new ways by which the company can reduce the cost of production and are competing with each other for the incentive scheme provided by the organization.

Section- 3: In this case, there are two parties in the conflict. The team members of one party are quite aggressive in their approach and they were trying to prove their point by shouting or showing signs of aggression like banging their fists on the table to prove that they were right. They want to prove their points not only from the organization's point but also they want to win that point from the other party and almost make it a personal conflict. The other party's members were somewhat logical. they were a bit calm and listening to the other party's members with patience and timely giving logical explanations to prove their points right. They are continuously convincing the other party with their reasonings related to the benefits to the organization.

Section- 4: The organization was trying to reduce its production cost and for that purpose, it created teams within the organization, to come up with innovative ways for cost reduction purposes. The organization has also recommended a reward of extra incentives to that team, whose solution will be selected. Here, both the teams have come up with new ideas and during lunchtime, they criticize each other over their new ideas, which led to a stage of a conflict.

Section: 5- The manager intervened in between the two parties and told them to peacefully submit both proposals to the desired authority and if they continue to fight both the teams will be forbidden from submitting their proposals.

Section: 6- This conflict led to a situation of heavy stress as some of the employees were themselves dividing them as the team's supporters and the whole work environment was disturbed. This was reducing the morale and unity of the employees, disturbing the production as the employees cannot focus on their work properly.

Section: 7- This conflict between teams gives the organization lesson that innovativeness is necessary and a competitive environment is a motivating factor but it is not always so. The organization tries to mend its culture from competitive to cooperative and encourage the employees to work in a team with proper collaboration among the members. It called both the party's team members and tell them to work with peace and harmony and try to achieve the objective collectively and find out a way of cost reduction by clubbing both the methods together into one proposal.

Section: 8- If I were to anticipate a suggestion to the situation, I would have tried to resolve the conflict and make ways to unite the employees again so as to maintain peace and harmony in the organization,it is very much needed for survival and growth of an organization the long run.

This incident concludes that the conflict causes unnecessary stress within the organization, which affects the organization's culture as well as acts as a threat to the unity of the employees and lowers the production process. Hence, this type of situation should be avoided. The company should induce competition but not at the cost of the employee's unity and integrity.
