In the past times in India, there was still relationship with the other empires and many things were traded among them like porcelain, ivory, silver and gold coins, silk etc but there are also some goods which are still in high demand some of them are as following -

1. Spices from India. India has always be the hub of spices. India used to spend large variety of spices to middle east and central asia.

2. Textiles - There were many centres in India and nearby areas where cotton was produced in large amount and that also of good quality and hence still India produces large number of cotton and exports it.

3. Fruits like Dates from central Asia and still traded

4. some of the weapons like dagger, guns etc were traded in those times and now instead of that these countries trade in high varieties of these arms like missiles, helicopters etc. Hence only the nature of goods has changed

5. wheat, rice and other food crops were also exported to central asia and west asia since they have sandy soil where growing food is a difficult task
