Introduction- The existential, positive and humanistic psychology are belongs to philosophical approach of psychology, so we can consider it with the firm affiliation with humanistic approach of psycho-philosophical stream.
The existential psychology holds the proper study of psychology with individual experiences of the sequence, spatiality and organization of our existence in this world.
The term positive psychology belongs to scientific study of human functioning and flourishing on multiple levels and dimensions of life. The humanistic approach of psychology belongs to personal choice and responsibility in which individual behaviour drives by personal intentions.
Actually, different ideologies in psychological approaches, belongs to human behaviour in different conditions and ethical conditions. The different thoughts regarding these schools of psychology defends on personal beliefs, some thinks that they are unscientific and unstructured because they find themselves between personal experiences and ethical issues while others support these ideologies because they are interested in personal choice of human behaviour. The different meaning and conditions.
Advantages of Existential, Humanistic and positive psychology- psychological approaches are not confirmed by scientific views but they are conditioned and depends on individual experiences, we can find personal choice rather than theoretical conditions so that we can have different perspective of existential and humanistic approaches. Philosophical views of psychology give us multi-dimensional way of thinking rather than mono approach, we can think beyond the natural behaviour and experience personal conditions.
Disadvantages- Many psychologist believes that personal choices can challenge objectivity of subjects and reduce scientific views so that we cannot get similar experiences and behavioural conditions.
In my opinion, psychology is the science of behaviour, and a behaviour can be described in individual experiences as well as collective perspectives, so that we need both approaches and challenges to find the real behavioural characteristics.
