The magazine that interests me is "Prevention". It is the 2nd top fitness and health magazine with 2,921,618 subscribers in circulation after Remedy's Health Living. Prevention covers the major topic related to health issues, weight loss, fitness, sex, food and nutrition, beauty and life. I like the magazine most because it covers all the recent issues that people are facing in the 21st century. Sometimes I do get scared reading all the articles but again we need to overcome the fear as whatever is mentioned in that article are true facts. At the beginning after I read, just to verify the reliability and validity of the data presented I searched in Google and was looking for data misrepresentation which is a common blunder that most of the magazines do. But to my astonishment, the facts have not tampered, they were originally represented with the citations of the fact. This gives a credibility factor for the audience.

I have analyzed the latest issues, the advertisements are mostly health-related and the pictures in the articles influence the audience as either they are doctors or celebrities who have faced some situation and how they recovered from it was mentioned. This attracts many people as the audience always wants to know about their favourite celebrities and they refer to them in their friend's circle. I feel the audience gets attracted to these pictures and true stories. the Magazine readers are mostly adults and especially women as most of the articles are related to Women safety and health. The advertisements for relaxing shoes, inner wears, breast cancer, mom and daughter relationships, PCOS and pregnancy, Jennifer Lopez workout tools etc are targetted towards women.
