Computers can bring a whole bunch of new opportunities and would make managers' life very simple in various ways. Since the era of the computer is already there and in every means it is becoming a worthwhile asset to humans.

The same case applies to our managers too. Some opportunities include:

1. Record-Keeping - Managers can now easily and efficiently keep the record of their employees with the usage of the computer. Client and customer record which is a very essential part of any organization can be stored at huge amount easily.

2. Business Planning - Using mail, booking online appointments, researching new business ideas, planning day-to-day activities using different tools are useful to the managers.

3. Communication - One of the key aspects of any successful organization use computers to log service issues and make a record of their resolutions. Using email and instant messaging programs allows employees to gather information from one another that they need to complete their jobs.

Challenges

There are no such challenges specific to managers but general challenges are there which is applicable to everyone who uses a computer.

Data theft can be done by hackers as managers aren't geeky so they won't know how to not get caught in this trap.
