Solutions

Expert Solution

The antiboitics are aimed to decrease disease out breaks in farmed animals .By reducing the origin and spread of disease the helath of live stock can be improved.it reduce the entry of bacteria in animal body throgh feed. Thus resulting a better out come or production.it can be given to animal by the method of mixing with feed or mixing with water or can be injected by injection method.Initialy used antibiotic was pencillin and nowadays various antibiotics like oxytetracycle ,monensin, neomysin are widely using.

The unintended benefit of antibiotics is rapid growth .The growth promotion is done by the destruction of gut microbes in animals by the supply of antibiotics and results in increased production.

Approximately 80 percentage of antiboitics are sold in united states for animals. The usageof antibiotics in animals is nearly 70 to 80 percentage ( more than 20 million in 2014).

The long term consequences of the over usage of antibiotics is the development of resistant bacteria ( superbugs) and when it transfer to human through food resulting in the formation of serious illness. Thus it will result in the formation of severe disease and spread in humans and might cause death also.

Ascaris nematodes shed their eggs in the feces of their hosts (including pets, farm animals, and humans). Behavioral observations on humans suggest that young boys eat dirt more frequently than young girls. Additionally data on public sanitations indicate that some parts of the southeastern United States lack public sanitation, thus the people of the area simply urinate and defecate outside.    Hypothesis    Prediction:
Probenecid is sometimes used along with penicillin antibiotics (e.g., penicillin, ampicillin, nafcillin) to increase antibiotic blood levels.
Combined Drug Responses/ Drug to Drug reactions  Probenecid is sometimes used along with penicillin antibiotics (e.g., penicillin, ampicillin, nafcillin) to increase antibiotic blood levels. This increase makes the antibiotic work better at treating certain infections. Probenecid has no antimicrobial activity and works by decreasing the kidneys' ability to remove the antibiotic from the body, thereby increasing the effect of the antibiotic. How would you describe this drug to drug interaction? Explain?
