And it has something to offer every group of customers. be it children, kids, parent. Family etc. Disney has various strategies to target their core consumers. In 1947 the company launched its first full length film for kids. The name was Snow White and Seven Dwarfs. But the moment it realized that they have to expand further because of the demand then they introduced Disney Channel, Touchstone pictures. Touchstone picture has launched many movies. And the core consumer was the adult under the brand umbrella of Disney. As far as new generation of children are concern the company has very low prices about their videos or films that is why it is very affordable for new generation kids to watch those movies or videos with family.
Disney strives to get quality as well as recognition. That is why there are very differences in Disney segments. These differences makes the customers recognize the brands away from the Rivals. This is a competitive advantage of Disney. for an example currently Disney deals in 5 segments Disney park and Resort, consumer product, interactive media and Studio entertainment. These diversification of the company is strength because they offer their product to every segment of the age group and get their royalty. Disney has so much Innovation and recognition that the moment one utilizes the services of Disney then it becomes its loyal customer sooner or later. For an example Hannah Montana this is an example for diverse product. They have made diverse product out of Hannah Montana such as video games, movies, series ,concerts etc and live performance as well which is conducted in international Disneyland Resort.
Disney not only uses latest technology but also keep on updating those technology as per need and technological evolution. By upgrading their tickets technology in order to connect with their core consumers. For being connected with their core consumers Disney offers behind the camera scenes, movie trailers, virtual tour of their Park, interviews about the characters, regular and other news update about their products or services. That is why therefore consumers get a curiosity to utilize those products or services.
