Expert Solution

Empowering every employee in the company is always a positive for the company. This directly means that the skillset of the employee is improving and it can only add value to the organization. The lower level employees will be equipped with the required skills to do the job done by the high-level employees if they get the opportunity to learn enough. The company can give them more responsibilities and get the work done. This will boost the morale of the employees and it will directly make a positive impact on the business of the company. Every employee in the company will always look for an opportunity to learn something new and move to the next level in the company. People should be motivated if we want to see an increased productivity. So empowering them will be beneficial for the company. The only danger empowering low-level employees can pose is they will learn the skills and move to a different company for a better position and salary. This will be a huge loss for the company because it would have invested a lot of time and money in it. But the employees will learn the skills and use them somewhere else. So the company needs to identify the right people to empower and make sure they are happy with the current company. These employees will go on to become valuable assets to the company. So it mainly depends on the mindset of the employees. If they decide to leave the company then the efforts put in by the company will go in vain. If they stay back then the company has a new resource that is ready to take new responsibilities and deliver success.
