Physiological, pathophysiological and clinical changes in
patients with Parkinson’s and Alzheimer’s Disease are:
- Cognitive decline takes place in both Alzheimer’s disease and
Parkinson’s dissease though significantly less observed in
Parkinson disease.
- Permanent Memory loss is occur in Parkinson disease. Affects
memory, learning and behaviour. In alzheimer’s ,short term memory
loss.
- Depression is seen with the patient of Parkinson disease.
- There is neuroanatomical changes in brain structure in
Parkinson disease. Alzheimer’s Disease is associated with tangles
and plaques in the brain.
- Sleep disorder is seen in Parkinson disease as well as
Alzheimer’s Disease .
- Speech problem is seen in Parkinson disease as well as
Alzheimer’s Disease
- Tremor in one hand is observed in Parkinson disease. Tremor is
not seen in Alzheimer’s Disease .
- Apathy is the most important neuro symptom of Alzheimer’s
Disease and Parkinson .
