this is a paper for my engineeing classI need to write a bout what should engineeing field foucs on in the future? also pros(good) and cons (bad) if any of engineering to our society. what field of engineering was born found first. thank you

Engineers should focus on innovation.There are many social issues which need instant an effective solution for the betterment of society.I think that every engineering Institute should have its atleast one Research and development department where students of every branch work together to find solution of a specific social problem together.

Pros of engineering-

• Makes our lives easy,from the small machines to the high rise buildings.
• Engineering increased the efficiency of an individual,with the same amount of energy,one can do more work now.
• Engineering brought the urbanisation,though we have services before also,but now we have it in a more organised way.

Cons-

• It made us dependent on various things even for small works,like lifts,transports etc.
• Over use of technology have its own drawbacks.
• Also,it can be easily misused.

I think civil engineering is found first,because when we go to the early men's era,there was no computer,no electricity,no machines,what they had was a shelter to live.In starting they live on caves,but after sometime they started living in hut.
