In the case study of John Endler on Poecilia reticulata where he demonstrated the effectiveness of natural selection on wild guppies. What is the relationship between sexual selection and natural selection (predators) in guppies? Explain how they are linked together* (detail explanation please in clear hand writing )
the sexual selection is a form of natural selection. there are two phases in case of guppies. one is survival phase. in this phase, the guppies are participating in natural selection and avoid predation. second is reproductive phase. in this phase the guppies are participating in reproduction. in survival phase, the interspecies predators are selecting bright glowing male guppies from female guppies. the survival rate of males are low. in sexual phase there is more production of male guppies . the male guppy wants to be bright to attract the potential mate. guppies are fastly adapting to the pressures of the environment. males must maintain the equal or under brightness value to the mate. the competition between the intraspecies guppies for a better potential mate causing the sexual selection among the Species. it is called intrasexual selection. like that natural selection is linked to sexual selection.
