please type easily that your knowhow useful to learn mosfet engineering.

its hard to read handwrited

I mean I need the easy tips for understanding mosfet engineering.

Solutions

Expert Solution

  1. Firstly, before going to study MOSFET we need to get good grip on basics.
  2. Basics, means the order flow of concepts to reach Mosfet.
  3. In detail, first we need start with semiconductor physics topic which covers basics of semiconductor, Fermi levels, types of semiconductor.
  4. Second, study about the PN Junction diode in detail with device explanation.
  5. Thirdly, study about special diodes especially Schottky diode which is very useful to understand about the MOS capacitor energy band diagram, because schottky diode and MOS Capacitor energy band diagram both have slightly similar operations. (here you understand about band bending)
  6. Fourth, study about MOS Capacitor thoroughly, in that Inversion mode operation of MOS Capacitor is used to build MOSFET.
  7. Fifth, study about Enhancement type MOSFET and Depletion type MOSFET and characteristics(output, transfer), then study about Drain current and how can we control it.
  8. Sixth, Finally you studied about device part of MOSFET that is how to make MOSFET and then you need to know about IC fabrication process.(here the explanation about device part of MOSFET, next we have circuit part, there we have MOSFET biasing, MOSFET Low frequency and High frequency analysis, MOSFET as an amplifier, MOSFET current mirror circuits, MOSFET differential amplifier circuits etc..,
  9. after MOSFET technology, then it is Finfet technology that is a multi gate device.
  10. These MOSFET technology is very useful for chip manufacturing.
