Is Gender Discrimination the Main Reason Women being Paid Less Than Men?

Instructor's Note: Be sure to fully respond to the questions. I am requesting that you state arguments with explanation/discussion. I am looking for at least a paragraph, in your own words (not copy and paste). A two-sentence response will likely result in a deduction in points; as I am interested in what and how you articulate your response. This "Instructor's Note" is provided to guide you in what is expected by the Instructor. Thanks.

a.      Part A: Provide two arguments with explanation/discussion that supports: Gender Discrimination IS the Main Reason Women are Paid Less Than Men., AND

b.      Part B: Provide two arguments with explanation/discussion that supports: Gender Discrimination IS NOT the Main Reason Women are Paid Less Than Men.

Instructor's note: Be sure to label each part of the question (Part A, Part B) and label each of your two arguments for each part of question.

answer-

Is Gender Discrimination the Main Reason Women being Paid Less Than Men?

a.      Part A: Provide two arguments with explanation/discussion that supports: Gender Discrimination IS the Main Reason Women are Paid Less Than Men.

arguement 1-

gender discrimination is the main reason women are paid less than men because society thinks that women are supposed to work at home like housewife.as well all know that what society thinks people would do that.in our society women are considered as inferior as compared to men so they are getting paid less as compared to men.

arguement 2-

women are not supposed to make choices in reagrds of thier education like women do not have many opportunities to choose best collges for graduation so they chooses online or course crash education because they are cheap & affordable so they get paid less because they have no higer education.if some have then they get paid because they get the excuse from the employer that they can nit hanlde the work pressure so women have to compromise with less salary.

b.      Part B: Provide two arguments with explanation/discussion that supports: Gender Discrimination IS NOT the Main Reason Women are Paid Less Than Men.

arguement 1-

the thinking of people is the main reason that women are getting paid less than men because there are many areas in which women are outshining men in corporate world.women are everywhere like politics, navy, defense, army, private world, public sector etc.people thinks that women even though in every field but can not become superior than men so this thinking is wrong & the main reason for wage gap not gender discrimination.

arguement 2-

there are many womens who are entreprenuer & providing euqal opportunties to both men & women & they do not discriminate based on thier genders.for example-

  • Manisha Raisinghani, Co-founder & CTO, LogiNext
  • Lizzie Chapman, Co-founder, ZestMoney.
  • Radhika Aggarwal, Co-founder, ShopClues etc.

so women are not inferior of men & they walk equally like men & earning like men.

*above answer is written in my own words.hope this answer would help you.good luck & rate.
