Women has a poor bargaining capacity

Women are not good at salary negotiations due to lack of confidence and other reasons as they have a poor bargaining capability in comparison to men. It is mainly due to lack of confidence. Due to the inequality in the society and stereotyping social conditions their perception regarding is different from men. They usually can be satisfied by offering less salary.

Less number of working women

Working women is less throughout the world. They prefer or have no other choice but to pursue domains that suit their present social situation. Higher paying jobs usually witness fewer female candidates. Also they cannot work in certain areas like mines and other industries because of their physical limitations. In most of the best positions and high paid positions we found men.

Ethics, morals and values

Usually women give more importance to values and families and want to spend more time around home and their families. This decreases their alternatives for job opportunities. Because they want jobs that are conveniently located near their home. Usually, most of such job opportunities offer lower compensation than the market.
