Here we will discuss the different roles of managers within their workplaces and how the role impacts their daily activities and interaction along with Mintsberg's findings of managerial positions and how those findings apply to managers and how they might affect the workplace. We will also discuss the thoughts about manager skillset as a precursor to their success and whether some people are more prone to succeed as managers than others.
It is true to say that the managers often have multiple roles because managers are very flexible with their working at the workplace all in the organization. They are highly flexible and capable of doing any task they are given in the organization as they are perfect in managing all the activities and performing every other activity required to get done in the organization. A manager being flexible and competitive in the organization positively impacts the organization as they tend to improve the activity's daily work, and the interactions improved so well.
Mintzberg divided the managerial behavior into three categories, such as interpersonal, informational, and decisional. He then divided the behavior, nature, and working of the managers into these three categories to become straightforward to apply to managers. It was very appropriate for him to divide the working of the manager into for the types because it helps manage things very easily and quickly, which has impacted the whole workplace very positively and has brought out many positive aspects.
Manager skillset as a precursor is vital for their success as they become very flexible so that they can easily adapt to the changes and quickly work on them within the organization to make things work properly and promptly.
It is not essential that some people are more prone to success as managers than others because the post all the designation in the organization does not define the success of a particular person. In contrast, on the other hand, the working and the talent or skills establishes the person's success in the organization.
