PROCEDURE FOR CALCULATE CFM

  1. Measure the room's width , length and height of the room .
  2. Multiply the three measurements:- width , length and height of the room.
  3. Multiply the cubic volume of the room by the number of times you want the air to turn over or exchange in an hour.
  4. Divide the answer that you got from step 3 by 60 so that you will able to get CFM.

NOW,

Control area that needed to warehouse = 3 CFM

Dimension of the controlled area,

Width = 25 ft

Length = 50ft

Height = 20ft

Cubic volume of the room = (25*50*20) = 25,000 cubic feet

CFM= (Volume of the room * air changes per hour ) / 60 minutes

= (25000* 6)/60

= 2500 ( for all room area)

No of cfm needed for every 3cfm = ( 2500 /3) = 833 (approx.)

For warehouse, the range of air exchanges can be ( 6 - 30) ,it depends on condition of users and designers (heat engineers ) . Here I have taken 6 so get my answer , you can get different answer on the basics of air changes per hour that you have taken.

The value of  air changes per hour ranges from 6 to 30 for warehouse that you can get from various trial method that are already done by engineers.

The average weight of airline food packaging material needs to be controlled so that the total weight of the catering supplies does not exceed a desired limit. The material should weigh no more than 250 grams. If the weight is too heavy, then different packaging material will need to be ordered. A random sample of n= 100 shows the sample mean to be 259 grams with a known population standard deviation (sigma) of 50 grams. (1 pt.) Write out Ho...
