.Can an individual change society?

Solutions

Expert Solution

  • Society continually influences individuals, as individuals influence society.According to me,one person cannot change the whole society, but yes one person's idea can be built upon in order to influence society in some way.The individual can have an idea, which he/she can communicate to others and take their help to build upon it and bring about a change. Collective effort is required at every step after the idea has been generated by the individual. As one person, noone can fight the world. Somebody as great as Mahamata Ganshi, also had people to support to bring a revolution, main conception of idea was him but without the support of people he could not have done anything to bring a change.
  • An individual can definitely unite people to come together for a common purpose. For a major change to take place in society group effort is needed. An individual can only change he society if he/she has the leadership quality to motivate others to do the same and has a clear vision.Having a selfless nature and the zeal to bring about a change can definitely lead to success.
  • We all are beings of the society we live in,without the help of each other we cannot earn a livelihood, let alone changing it.One needs to have the courage,to take up the responsibility of changing the society along with its people.
