False confession is related to the criminal psychology. It appears that most of the criminals do not confess their guilt. They give false information. Again, police take many types of means that force the offenders to confess their guilt. In the past many research were done on the false confession. It is found that many convicts were arrested falsely and they were victim of false confession.
By analyzing the case report and police report the researchers found various aituations on which false confession took place. By recording and other information it is found by the researchers that it was very difficult to establish the truth. The researcher have found how the violent steps of the police and investigators forced the individuals to do false confession. Sometimes false confession was done intentionally and even there is a great network that worked behind false confession.
The present trend shows that in future there will be use of technology more and more in the investigation of a crime. Today, criminal psychology is being developed day after day. It is done with the help of the biological analysis. Lie detector is already used now. But its authenticity is not reliable. But in future it will be more authentic with modern technology. Again, with the application of criminal psychology the real truth will be established.
Besides, false confession does not have solid proof. In future the technology will be used to find out whether a confession bears validity or not. In future many steps would be taken on behalf of the convict to appeal to the higher authority. The right of the convict will help the convict to be free ftom false confession. Again the use of technology and applied psychology will help the authority to be free from false confession.
