Solutions

Expert Solution

Q no 1:-
(A)

1. Renewable resources are those resources which have the tendency to replace itself naturally, in a short period of time. While as Non-renewable resources are the one that are not capable of replacing itself, in near future.
2. Renewable resources are present in unlimited quantity while as Non-renewable resources are present in limited quality.
3. Renewable resources of energy are eco-friendly and have low cost maintenance while as Non-renewable resources of energy are not eco-friendly and have high cost maintenance.
4. Rate of renewal of Renewable resources is greater than the rate of consumption while as Rate of renewal is lower than the rate of consumption for Non-renewable resources of energy.

(B) Renewable sources of energy are usual readily available for example Sunlight, Biomass, air food and water.
While as the Non-renewable sources of energy like petroleum, coal, nuclear energy , metal ores and wildlife can be obtained industrially by the processes like mining and few are obtained by deforestation.
